This blanket is made from soft flannel fabric, but what makes it different is this: it glows in the dark.
How does it work?
The blanket contains light‑storing pigments woven into the fabric. These pigments are not radioactive and contain no batteries. They simply absorb light when exposed to a bright source – sunlight, room light, or a lamp – and then slowly release that energy as a soft, gentle glow once the lights go off.
Think of it like charging a small battery: daylight charges it, darkness reveals it. The more light it absorbs during the day, the longer and brighter it will glow at night. After a few minutes under a bright lamp or a day by the window, you will see a calm, steady glow that can last for several hours.
Important to know:
The glow is not permanent; it fades gradually as the stored energy is used up. You can “recharge” it again the next day.
The blanket will not glow brightly all night long like an electric light. It produces a soft, subtle glow – enough to find your way in a dark tent or to create a magical atmosphere, but not enough to read by.
The flannel fabric itself is soft and warm (230gsm, double‑napped), just like our regular flannel blankets. The glow effect comes from added pigments, not from any electronic parts.
